Diigo is a service that you can add to your web browser to help you with your research or whatever you are doing online. Working with it in class, I learned I can use it for quick note taking, adding bookmarks to websites I want to visit later, and to annotate those bookmarks with little notes. I can use this in all of my future classes in college and for any research, I will be doing in my future career. It's helpful because it eliminates taking notes and keeping separate documents full of links to websites because you can simply just bookmark the websites and organize them by category.

Using PowerPoint for Bloom's Taxonomy

Create: Powerpoint could be used within itself by helping students create an original work using it.  A class could be taught on how to use powerpoint in future assignments, and students could be tested by having to create and design their very own powerpoint on their topic of choice.

Evaluate: Powerpoint could be used to teach a lesson in class on the different views or sides to a story, then the students would have to create their own on the argument they felt most strongly about after they judged the situation.

Analyze: A lesson or game could be created using powerpoint where students had to uncover sides of a slide, where two things were being compared and contrasted. The student would have to go through the powerpoint in order to distinguish and ask questions about what the ending result would be.

Apply: Powerpoints are used in classrooms everywhere to teach new information, but it's hard to get the students to really apply these new ideas to their lives. You could use powerpoint to show more in-depth visuals and audio on how this information is being used in the real world, and then challenge the classroom to complete one of these tasks outside of the classroom.

Understand: I order to know if your students are really grasping a topic, they have to be tested. Making in-class quizzes on powerpoint is a great way to make sure your students are understanding the topic.

Remember: Remembering goes hand-in-hand with understanding, and one of the best ways to get your students to do this is through flashcards and games. Powerpoint is one of the best tools used to make Jeopardy games and hidden-answer buttons on so students can play games while learning.
