Diigo is a service you can download to your browser in order to help you save websites that you want to access later. I love that you can use it as a bookmark, just like the bookmark feature on regular browsers, but even more intricate. The features include being able to annotate what websites you save so you can add notes and a description to remind you what the website was about. I also like the feature in which you can add tags, so any website that you tag with the same keywords you will be able to access them all on a list. The only thing I don't like about it is that it can only be used on google chrome.
Blogging is a great way to reach an audience that you don't have to specifically tailor your work towards. You can post your thoughts in another platform besides social media like Twitter where you know anyone can access it and read your opinions. The blogging process so far for my Education Technology course has been a new and interesting way to do homework assignments without it feeling like homework. I love that we are able to decorate our blogs the way we find aesthetically pleasing and decide how we want our words to be expressed. Blogging has been a great experience because we actually get to read our classmate's thoughts, comment on other's blogs and reply to our classmate's opinions or questions.
Web 2.0 is any website or service that is interactive, not static. One tool I find incredibly useful and easy to use is Youtube. I would integrate Youtube into my classroom whenever possible because while it's fun to use for the student's, it's also a great visual and audio learning tool, as some children might retain information better with a video than they would by reading. Youtube is also great for creative projects as kids can make their own videos and upload them for other students to watch and comment on. As a teacher, I could also use this tool to post my own educational videos for my students.

Hi Hilary! I love that you chose YouTube as your Web 2.0 tool. I also chose YouTube as a tool. YouTube is just such a large and great archive of information. This weekend my roommate and I actually had to turn to a YouTube video to figure out how to check her oil! There are also great resources like John Green's educational videos that cover topics from large events in history to simple scientific concepts.
